Girls On The Run, a national program—sponsored by United Healthcare, is a transformational learning program for 8 to 13 year old girls. Teaching life skills through dynamic conversation based lessons and running.
ABCD is sponsoring a new site at the KFRC with support from United Healthcare, Graham Road Elementary School, and our School Board member Dalia Palchik.
The new team started practice September 24 and will continue to meet Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 pm and Saturday, 10 to 11:30 am. The 10 week program will culminate with a 5K Run on Dec. 2 in Sterling.
Coaches for the KFRC team are Dalia Palchik, Julio Martinez, from United Health Care and Amanda Snow, ABCD.
